The third value—producing springs according to your individual specifications and preferences—cannot be verified by a certificate. Please contact us if you need a special technical spring. Our experienced team works with you and for you to develop custom technical springs.

Environmental Certification According to ISO 14001:2015
In July 2020, we received ISO 14001:2015 certification for our environmental management system. Protecting the environment is a top priority for us in the manufacture of technical springs.
We operate in accordance with the ISO standard, focusing on the following areas:
- We manufacture technical springs in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner. All of our employees think and act with the environment in mind.
- We take all technically feasible measures to minimize the environmental impact of our spring production.
- We take care to source materials, supplies, and all other items necessary for spring production in an environmentally responsible manner.
- We store and dispose of all materials and raw materials in a professional and certified manner.
- We ensure order and safety at all workstations and during the performance of all tasks, and we adhere to the guidelines for our production processes.

ISO 14001:2015: Environmental Management System
The certification body of TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH certifies that Alfred Weigel Federnfabrik GmbH & Co. KG is certified for the manufacture and distribution of technical precision springs made from round and flat stock has implemented and maintains an environmental management system.
This certificate is valid from July 20, 2026, through April 14, 2029.
Purchasing Green Electricity from Hydropower
In 2026, we will source 100% of the electricity used in our production facility in Chemnitz from hydropower (Vattenfall’s green electricity plan).
This certificate is valid from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026
ISO 9001:2015: Quality Management System
The certification body of TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH certifies that Alfred Weigel Federnfabrik GmbH & Co. KG is certified for the manufacture and distribution of technical precision springs made from round and flat stock has implemented and maintains a quality management system.
This certificate is valid from June 12, 2025, through June 11, 2028.
